Call Comments AB4PP Index went from 118 to 293 during the day with the solar flares. Kept listening around and bands were quiet. Finally an opening and got on and did some S&P and then decided to run. Had a good time and enjoyed what little time the bands opened up. Did some yard work and maintenance on my chicken coop while there was no chance to get on the bands. Only got a few FISTS members but had a good time and had several short QSO's during the event. Thanks to all for the Q's. -John AB4PP KA5VZG Should team up with SKCC when sprint date/time overlap and/or set up sked page to encourage more activity. -Alan KA5VZG K6DF Terrible band condx due to the solar storm. Hope condx are much better for the Sunday Sprint. 73, Dennis K6DF K4MMC We were all set to operate this FISTS Sprint but ran out of time before our station was ready. There were stations heard exhibiting aurora flutter. The aurora borealis was visible north of out QTH. Dave K4MMC - McEachern UMC Amateur Radio Club
