Those who are eligible to join FISTS "Americas Chapter" are those living in countries of North, Central, and South America and the associated Islands.
To receive your FISTS membership number send an e-mail with your
Amateur Radio Call, Name, Current Mailing Address, and (Telephone Nr. - optional)

an email from the server with your member password. You can use this to enter the
Members Area to download your membership certificate and new member information pages
to print on your own printer.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO RENEW?
Americas Chapter members do not need to renew as all chapter memberships are for life.
HOW TO SEARCH FOR A FISTS CALL OR NUMBER
Go to the following web site and type in the FISTS member's Call Sign and it will give you the FISTS Number for this call. It will also do it in reverse, Number to Call Sign.
This list is updated within a few days of any membership changes.

HOW DO I GET A FISTS NUMBER FOR MY LOCAL CLUB?
There are no "local" FISTS only clubs within the four worldwide FISTS chapters (Europe, Americas, Down-Under, and East-Asia). We do have FISTS "affiliated" radio clubs which are issued a FISTS Number and are worth 3 points towards FISTS Awards. These are local amateur radio clubs that have one or more FISTS members within their club that want a FISTS number to use when they are operating with their local radio club call sign on CW.
Clubs with FCC call signs may be assigned a FISTS number at no charge providing there is at least one FISTS member in good standing in the local club. These clubs are not legally affiliated with FISTS, nor does FISTS have anything to do with how the club is run, etc. It just means the club has a FISTS number and is worth three points toward FISTS awards.

HOW DO I GET AN UP-TO-DATE MEMBER LIST?
With the link below, you can download a copy of the latest member list for the FISTS International CW Club. This is a CSV (comma separated values) file containing member number, callsign, and name for current FISTS members worldwide.
The first record in the file contains the field names and additionally the UTC date and time the file was created (year/month/day hours:minutes:seconds). The file is typically updated once per day.

You may use FISTS logos, available in the Member's Area, to get cards from any printer you wish. Many QSL printers already have a small FISTS logo available for your QSL cards.
